Meet the Reverend Mamas

Some of my favorite work happens at the intersection of faith and parenting. Through Reverend Mamas, a project I co-founded with my friend, fellow pastor, and co-author, Cameron Mason Vickrey, we create resources and stories for families who want to raise children with a faith grounded in love rather than fear. Our first children's book, My Love, God Is Everywhere, grew out of that hope: that children might encounter a vision of God that is expansive, compassionate, and present in the world around them.

The image features a colorful, dreamy background with a star, moon, and whimsical sky scene, along with the text "My Love, Keep Your Wonder" in large, playful font. There are cartoon characters of a woman and a man lying on the grass, gazing up at the sky.

Curiosity Awaits—will you answer? Explore the latest wonder from the creators of the beloved My Love, God Is Everywhere.

Coming February 2027

Cover of a children's book titled "My Love, God Is Everywhere" by Victoria Robb Powers and Cameron Mason Vickrey, illustrated by Joanna Carillo. The cover features two animated children, a girl with long hair and a boy with short hair, sitting in a grassy field with mountains and a pink sky in the background. They are looking at dragonflies with expressions of wonder.

Encounter God's unlimited presence and unconditional love in this joyful picture book that helps kids discover God in all parts of creation, from the mountains to the anthills and, most of all, in our hearts amid joy, sadness, calm, and chaos.

We’re Social

Our instagram follows our passions, including writing children’s books together, highlighting female voices in ministry, pursuing justice and compassion, and helping people find a faith that’s worth passing on to the next generation,

We love talking theology for kids, better ways to tell Bible stories, how justice is integral to faith, and more.

Raising children with a faith worth inheriting

We started Reverend Mamas because we wanted to create the kinds of resources we wished we'd had as parents. Our hope is to help families nurture a faith that children can carry with them for a lifetime, not one they'll one day have to leave behind.
